Why We Do What We Do Our bunads are made locally with authentic Norwegian fabrics and deep respect for historical sewing techniques. We never outsource production abroad. Not only is that unsustainable—it also goes against everything we believe in. Shipping traditional Norwegian fabrics across the world just to have finished garments sent back makes no sense to us.
Instead, we proudly keep the work in Norway and limit our production to ensure each bunad receives the time, care, and craftsmanship it deserves.
