A Fabric with Historical Origins

The rust red version recreates the original color found in the historical vest from Os. As the bunad tradition evolved, additional color variations were introduced, allowing for personal preference while maintaining the traditional design.

Today, the fabric is available in multiple colorways, while preserving the characteristic pattern that defines the Østerdal men’s bunad.

The fabric is defined by its distinctive printed motif of black scrolls (“kruseduller”), a decorative pattern unique to this bunad tradition.
